Sounding a Warning-Another False Messiah

When Jesus' disciples asked him about the end of the age, he taught them what we should be looking for, and the signs of his coming. One of them was the rise of false prophets, and false Christ's and Messiah's. In the last several generations, there's been a steady increase of those claiming to be the Christ, and the Messiah. Another one was posted just today-the disturbing thing about it is who is putting out this claim-a Catholic Cardinal, and his evidence by prominent Jews, to substantiate his claims.

In the video below the man doing the presentation goes into many long detailed reasons why this man he claims is the Messiah is legitimate. He showed clips of the Jews using their codes to decipher the mans name-and who he is-but the question I have to ask is-why should I believe their use of numbers and codes? In the word of God, the four gospels tell us who the Messiah is, by four of the disciples who walked, talked with, and witnessed his life and miracles, and his death on the cross, and spoke with him after his resurrection. The Old Testament prophets who foretold of his coming-was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The Jews continuing to reject him is more evidence of their blindness, as Paul talks about in Romans. One day, they will weep and mourn when they see him whom they pierced, coming in the clouds.

The cardinal in the video uses the loud trumpet like noises and sounds heard around the world in recent years, which I've seen in several videos myself. He also claims the bright ball of light that dropped, then shot straight up, in 2011 and was reported in the news, as part of the signs of this mans "coming". These are the lying signs and wonders Jesus tells about in ch. 24, when Jesus returns-there will be no mistaking him. When the real Messiah returns, the nail prints in his hands and feet, will still be there.

I'll advise listening to the video now-then come back to this point, and read what Jesus says about it.

We are in the final days before Jesus Christ returns. Satan is ramping up his deceptions, and those who do not know their bible will be quickly deceived. In chapter 24 of Matthew, Jesus warns us what to look for, and how to know if they are telling lies-
Mat 24:23  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 
Mat 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 
Mat 24:25  Behold, I have told you before. 
Mat 24:26  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 
Mat 24:27  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 

Important points:

We are on the edge of the Tribulation period-we are to be aware of the times:
Coming on the heels of the abomination of desolation: great tribulation.

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
a. Great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time: Jesus said that this will be the most awful time in all of human history. When we think of the terrible wars, plagues, famines, and genocide history has seen, this is a terribly sobering statement. When God pours out His wrath on a God rejecting world, it will be truly great tribulation.
b. Look, here is the Christ: No one should be deceived about the nature of Jesus’ coming. It will not be secret or private, but as plain as lightning that flashes across the sky. But in the midst of such tribulation, there will be a temptation to look for false messiahs (false christs and false prophets will rise).
c. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together: This is a difficult statement. It was probably a figure of speech with the idea, “when judgment is ripe, it will surely come.”

This man claims this "Messiah" has been hid, and is now ready to be revealed. Jesus said-do not listen to them.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you,.... Any of the false prophets, or the deluded followers of false Christs:

"behold, he is in the desert, go not forth: that is, should they affirm, that the Messiah is in such a wilderness, in the wilderness of Judea, or in any other desert place, do not go out of the places where you are to see, or hear, and know the truth of things; lest you should, in any respect, be stumbled, ensnared, and brought into danger. It was usual for these impostors to lead their followers into deserts, pretending to work wonders in such solitary places: so, during the siege, Simon, the son of Giora, collected together many thousands in the mountainous and desert parts of Judea (t); and the above mentioned Jonathan, after the destruction of the city, led great multitudes into the desert:"
"behold, he is in the secret chambers, believe it not; or should others say behold, or for certain, the Messiah is in some one of the secret and fortified places of the temple; where, during some time of the siege, were John and Eleazar, the heads of the zealots (u); do not believe them. Some reference may be had to the chamber of secrets, which was in the temple (w);"

When Jesus the Christ returns to this world-every eye will see him. It will not be a hidden event for a few chosen people-it will be to a world that rejected Him, and the sky will open like a scroll as He descends with His heavenly army, and the angelic host:

Matthew 24:27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east,.... The eastern part of the horizon,
and shineth even unto the west; to the western part of it, with great clearness; in a moment; in the twinkling of an eye, filling the whole intermediate space;

"so shall also the coming of the son of man be; which must be understood not of his last coming to judgment, though that will be sudden, visible, and universal; he will at once come to, and be seen by all, in the clouds of heaven, and not in deserts and secret chambers: nor of his spiritual coming in the more sudden, and clear, and powerful preaching of the Gospel all over the Gentile world; for this was to be done before the destruction of Jerusalem: but of his coming in his wrath and vengeance to destroy that people, their nation, city, and temple: so that after this to look for the Messiah in a desert, or secret chamber, must argue great stupidity and blindness; when his coming was as sudden, visible, powerful, and general, to the destruction of that nation, as the lightning that comes from the east, and, in a moment, shines to the west."

they shall look: That this relates to the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth, and to his being pierced by the soldier's spear, we have the authority of the inspired apostle John for affirming; and this application agrees with the opinion of some of the ancient Jews, who interpret it of Messiah the son of David, as Moses Hadarson, on Gen_28:1-22, though Jarchi and Abarbanel refer it to the death of Messiah the son of Joseph, whom they say was to be the suffering Messiah, while the former is to be the triumphant Messiah. Psa_22:16-17; Joh_1:29, Joh_19:34-37; Heb_12:2; Rev_1:7

Rev 1:7  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 

May God protect His people from this deception-and open the eyes of those who He is trying to bring to salvation.
