Does the word of God forbid women to preach? It's an age old debate, that will go on until Jesus returns I'm sure. But, let's take a look at what scripture teaches-and what it doesn't teach on this subject.
In the book of Joel a prophesy is given that speaks of a coming future event:

                                                      The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit
Joe 2:28  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 
Joe 2:29  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 
In verse 28 we see "your sons and your daughters will prophesy". 

Meaning-Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy - Shall preach - exhort, pray, and instruct, so as to benefit the Church.
Sons, daughters, old, young- not merely on a privileged few (Num 11:2:29) as the prophets of the Old Testament, but men of all ages and ranks. See Act 21:9; 1Co 11:5, as to “daughters,” that is, women, prophesying.

Now, let's move forward to the New Testament, when Peter stands preaching on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. Here we see the beginning of the fulfillment of this prophesy.

Act 2:14  But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 
Act 2:15  For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 
Act 2:16  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 
Act 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 
Act 2:18  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 

In verses 17 and 18 we see Peter included daughters and handmaids-these will all prophesy-sons daughters, young men, old men, servants, handmaidens-without distinction of sex, age, or rank.

Also take note: Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. "To prophesy" in the New Testament means to communicate religious truth by divine authority, as well as to foretell the future. The prophecy was fulfilled in the inspired speaking on Pentecost and afterwards, as well as by the daughters of Philip (Act 21:9). It will be seen that both sexes are included.

Again, let's move forward again to Acts ch. 21:8,9:

Act 21:8  And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. 
Act 21:9  And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy. 

Here we see Philip the evangelist has four virgin daughters, and they all prophesied. 

Probably these may have been teachers in the Church: for we have already seen that this is a frequent meaning of the word prophesy; and this is undoubtedly one thing intended by the prophecy of Joel, quoted in Acts 2:17 and 18, of this book. If Philip’s daughters might be prophetesses, why not teachers?
This shows the prophetic spirit in the Old or New Testament is not confined to a single sex. Deborah and Huldah are Old Testament examples, and in the New Testament, Elisabeth, Mary, Anna, and the daughters of Philip are instances.

Consider this: The first person to preach the resurrected Christ, was a woman- Mary Magdalene. John 20:18. A great sinner- of whom Jesus had cast out seven devils.

Add the account of Jesus with the woman at the well. In John ch. 4:1-45, the story tells of Jesus stopping and asking the Samaritan woman for a drink of water, and a conversation develops and he tells her about her own life, and gives some important truths about the worship of God.

Today, this woman would be seen as a great sinner-Jesus told her she had five husband's, and the one she was with now-wasn't her husband. Today, she would be buried in the media's attacks, and slander. But, there Jesus sat-telling her one of the greatest truths' in the bible-and spending time with her-as an individual of great worth. The Pharisee's of today, could learn a lot from this, if they had eyes to see, and chose to.
 
She is amazed, leaves her water pots and immediately goes to her village and tells the people all that Jesus said to her. She preached to them. They listened to her, found Jesus and led him to their village and he stayed with them several days, and many believed in him. I wonder how the story would have been different, if she had kept quiet, and said nothing.

If God has laid his hand on you, and your a woman-don't allow people or the devil to intimidate you, or tear you down. It matters not whether you have a high education, great intellect, or great standing in society. Many people, men and women-have stood on street corners, and proclaimed the gospel, and the risen Christ. If Christ is first in your life and preaching, the Holy Spirit will more than make up for your lack-whatever it may be. The first disciples were not college educated people with degrees on their walls-they were tax collectors, fishermen, ordinary people-and God used them. They weren't perfect people, they were sold out to Jesus, and gave their lives with boldness from the Holy Spirit to proclaim the risen Christ.

Kathryn Kuhlman said "If everything was taken from me, and I was left with only the clothes on my back, I'd stand on a street corner, and preach."

When your called by God, nothing and no one will be able to kill what the Holy Spirit has planted in you. Use what you have, to do what God's called you to do. 

I'd only admonish-ask yourself this question often: "Is what I'm preaching, pointing to me-or to Christ". We have to forget the "I" in our preaching, and be single minded on Jesus Christ. Paul died in prison, but while he was there, he still used what he had, to preach-his pen, and scrolls; which we now read in scripture in his epistles and letters.

The world and the devil will come against you with all it's got-to shut you up. But, if your called by God-you'll do it-whatever comes.

You may have to speak things no one wants to hear-but if it's from the Lord, and he's requiring it of you, you'll pay the price. He's made it clear to me- preaching His word in truth-has no room for compromise. We may be ignorant of a thing until we are shown the truth; but after that, there's no more room for excuse. The world loves to cover the truth with smoke/mirrors, lies, and compromise.

When scripture is put in context, it brings things into proper perspective and shows the true intent of God's callings individually, whether they be men or women. 

A good teacher of the Word of God will be a Berean, and search the scriptures to get the answers to the difficult passages-to get a clear understanding of what is really being said and taught. Paul made statements about women keeping silent in the church-which has brought a lot of the controversy about women preaching. I've added links to some articles below, that answer the debates on what Paul said, and what he really meant at his time in history-we have to take everything into account-including the cultures of the day involved. A good teacher in any capacity will use every means at their disposal to bring understanding, enlightenment, clarity, and inspiration to the subject being taught-this is the aim in every form of teaching; whether in grade school, on into college, and higher institutions. It's no different for bible teachers; a good teacher of the Word of God will use reputable commentaries, teachings and all various forms of media to give the best presentation of what scripture is teaching. I keep this in mind in what I present, teach, and post on my pages. God can and does use many various means, to achieve reaching people to help present the gospel, and bring them to a knowledge of Jesus Christ and into a relationship with Him. This is the most important goal.

The Pope has publicly endorsed same-sex marriages, and made a lot of gay Catholics very happy. The implications of this are huge, and it unmasks the Pope-revealing him as gone completely apostate.
 
The pedophile priests in the Catholic church are also going to benefit from this, in numerous ways-as this endorsement forces changes in sex abuse laws. The long range intent for this is legalizing pedophilia-and they won't stop until it happens. Then, anyone in that church who is sexually abused-will have no recourse.

What the Pope has done is of course in blatant opposition to the word of God, Jesus tells us what God teaches is sanctified marriage:

The Pope can make all the declarations he chooses-it is blasphemy, it is heresy.

Anyone who is still in the Catholic church, if they still have faith in Jesus Christ as Lord-should get out, as fast as possible.

Anyone who willfully remains in this apostate religion-will face greater damnation. There is no excuse for this sin-he is doing it against the clear word of God on this, and all who follow him will burn in the lake of fire forever.

A short story given to me many years ago, by a aged pastor.

                                                       PAID IN FULL

After living what I felt was a "decent" life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house. The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.
As I looked around I saw the "prosecutor". He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen. I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.
The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.
He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off of Him.
As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, "Let us begin".

The prosecutor rose and said, "My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell"
He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and in the past when I cheated others Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look up anyone, even my own Attorney, as the devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about. As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, "This woman belongs in hell", she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.

When it was His turn, my Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench.
The Judge allowed this over the strong objections of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward. As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar, this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Saviour.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge: "Hi Dad", and then He turned to address the court.

"Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations".

And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be punished"

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed : "However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her Saviour, so she is Mine"

My Lord continued with, "Her name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch her from Me. Satan still does not understand yet. This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy"

As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, "There is nothing else that needs to be done". I've done it all"

The Judge lifted His mighty Hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips:

"This woman is free"

The penalty for her has already been paid in full. "Case dismissed"

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, "I won't give up" I will win the next one. I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, "Have you ever lost a case?"

Christ lovingly smiled and said: "Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you : PAID IN FULL!!

Indeed, this is I; in every sense of the word. Praise to the Father, for the Son: Forever more.

Lu 7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 
Lu 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 
Lu 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 
Lu 7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 
Lu 7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 
Lu 7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 
Lu 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 
Lu 7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 
Lu 7:49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 
Lu 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

​The Pope of Rome has made statements that would make any minister of the Gospel shake their heads in amazement, but I wonder how many Catholics will even bat an eye. I'm going to point out some things in this article-that anybody with a high school education should know.

Let's go to the word of God, and see what it says about taking something that belongs to somebody else. Now, maybe the Pope needs to get a deeper understanding of what these two commandments (the 8th and 10th), really mean:

Exo 20:15  Thou shalt not steal.

From the expositor's bible:

"This revolt of the individual is especially tempting when selfishness deems itself wronged, as by the laws of property. And the eighth commandment is necessary to protect society not merely against the violence of the burglar and the craft of the impostor, but also against the deceitfulness of our own hearts, asking What harm is in the evasion of an impost? What right has a successful speculator to his millions? Why should I not do justice to myself when law refuses it?
There is always the simple answer, Who made me a judge in my own case?
But when we regard the matter thus, it becomes clear that honesty is not mere abstinence from pillage. The community has larger claims than this upon us, and is wronged if we fail to discharge them.
The rich man robs the poor if he does not play his part in the great organisation by which he is served so well: every one robs the community who takes its benefits and returns none; and in this sense the bold saying is true, that every man lives by one of two methods--by labour or by theft.
St. Paul does not exhort men to refrain from theft merely in order to be harmless, but to do good. That is the alternative contemplated when he says, "Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need" (Eph_4:28)."

Now, the tenth commandment:
Exo 20:17  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

"I must not covet. Plainly this is the sharpest and most searching precept of all; and accordingly St. Paul asserts that without this he would not have suffered the deep internal discontent, the consciousness of something wrong, which tortured him, even although no mortal could reproach him, even though, touching the righteousness of the law, he was blameless. He had not known coveting, except the law had said "Thou shalt not covet."

Here, then, we perceive with the utmost clearness what St. Paul so clearly discerned--the true meaning of the Law, its convicting power, its design to work not righteousness, but self-despair as the prelude of self-surrender. For who can, by resolving, govern his desires? Who can abstain not only from the usurping deed, but from the aggressive emotion? Who will not despair when he learns that God desireth truth in the inward parts? But this despair is the way to that better hope which adds, "In the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean."

And as a strong interest or affection has power to destroy in the soul many weaker ones, so the love of God and our neighbour is the appointed way to overcome the desire of taking from our neighbour what God has given to him, refusing it to us."

The question I'd have for the Pope is- Do you still refer to yourself as a Christian?....if so, you have gone into total apostasy, and yes, a communist.

As an American I'll add the third and fourth amendments-

The Third Amendment prevents government from forcing homeowners to allow soldiers to use their homes. Before the Revolutionary War, laws gave British soldiers the right to take over private homes.

[Amendment III.]
"No Soldier shall, in time of peace, be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."

The Fourth Amendment bars the government from unreasonable search and seizure of an individual or their private property.

[Amendment IV.]
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

If anybody, whether a looter, or illegal immigrant tries to enter my home, and steal anything in it-will be met with my second amendment rights.

​What these illegal immigrants are doing is a disgrace, and an insult to the millions who DO go through the legal process to become citizens, and work to better themselves.  

God's word hasn't changed, it does not matter what people do, or how they try to twist laws to suit their own agenda's. Yes, people from other countries have the opportunity to come here and become citizen's, work and be able to purchase land and have a home, according to their abilities. But no one has the right to take what somebody else has worked for, for their own pleasure-by robbing and stealing it.

I'll continue to stand with the word of God, and my Constitutional rights.

NHS Nurse Speaks Her Truth - I commend this nurse for speaking up. Early this year I posted several pictures on my Facebook page showing the actions taken at the local hospital in my area-tents put up in the parking lots-the front door locked, and you had to speak into a speaker at the door to be allowed in. The parking lots were virtually empty-this had to have cost a tremendous amount of money-for nothing. Many people could not get treatment, surgeries postponed or canceled, and senseless obstructions for medical treatment. I hope many other's like her speak up.
