Jezebel

Jezebel, a notable character of the Bible. This will be an overview of who she was, what her characteristics are, and the story relayed in scripture concerning her. There will also be correlations, comparisons, and signs to look for that define someone with a Jezebel spirit.
 
The first introduction of her is in I Kings ch. 16:31

1Ki 16:30  And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. 
 
​​1Ki 16:31  And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. 

In verses 32-33, it tells of Ahab making an alter to Baal in Samaria, and they both worshiped Baal there.
She reveals herself to be one with a murdering spirit, in chapter 18:13. Obadiah tells Elijah he hid 150 prophets from her, when she slew many in Israel.

After Elijah kills 450 false prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, Jezebel proclaims his death warrant, and he runs for his life to Beersheba -then to Horeb. 1Kings 19:8-18

Along with this murdering spirit, she exhibits manipulation, and control when Naboth refuses to sell his vineyard to Ahab. She plots his death by setting him up in the eyes of the leaders, then has him falsely accused-and stoned to death. 1Kings ch. 21:1-16

Some of the main characteristics of Jezebel are:

She/he desires power, control, uses manipulation to get their way, an idol worshiper, licentious, works with a spirit of lust (lust can come in many forms-sex, or a compulsive desire for anything to fulfill their desires).

The jezebel spirit is on display today, in every conceivable way, through every source of media.

An overview of her evil practices in Israel:

1. Both she and Ahab served Canaanite idols- Baal and Ashtoreth. Baal represents the male sex organ-Ashtoreth the female sex organ.
2. She built pagan altars throughout Israel.
3. She raised up 850 occult priests, soothsayers and temple prostitutes.

Her demonic influence was so great that of over 10 millions Israelites, only 7,000 were left that God considered faithful.

This is the same spirit working in many of the leaders in this country now, and they want to destroy the foundations of this nation. People like Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and many other's are examples. They are both witches-the truth can be found. it will lead to their activities among the witches when they travel to Europe. 

I'm very aware that many people do not want to hear of these facts-but they will be put here, because living in a fantasy is not going keep this country patched together forever. Reality will rise to the top, whether anybody likes it or not, its just a matter of time.

In Revelation ch. 2, Jesus exposes the Jezebel spirit in the church of Thyatira. He rebukes them for tolerating that woman Jezebel - who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and misleads Gods servants into sexual immorality, and to foods sacrificed to idols.

Over the last several generations, we’ve seen many TV evangelists, preachers, and leaders in churches destroyed by this spirit. It hasn’t stopped, it’s rampant throughout the country now-not only in churches but throughout society.

Adding to this-the Satanists, and Luciferians practice rituals many times a year, and in them; drink the blood, and sometimes eat the sacrifices they kill-animal and human. This too, is going on all over the country-and people in very high places are into this demonic idol worship-it goes all the way to the top of government elites.

The Catholic church is also into this, I’ll let you do your own research. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true. Research what goes on in the basement of the Vatican.

Both men and women can have a Jezebel spirit. In the Bible, some who I believe had it were:

Absalom, Korah, Balaam, Simon the Sorcerer, Alexander the coppersmith, and Herodias and her daughter-who had John the Baptist beheaded. Cross references that give this correlation are: 1King 21:7, 1Ki 11:1-4, 1Ki 16:31, 1Ki 18:4, 1Ki 19:2, Pro 22:14, Ecc 7: 26, Mark 6:17-27

It can be seen that Herod also had a spirit of Ahab, which can be studied with these cross references:
Mat 4:12, Mat 11:2, Mat 14:3-12, Lu 3:19-20

The Jezebel spirit works along with other spirits that torment people. It comes out in the form of manipulation, control, religion, perversion, lust, and scheming.

The primary focus with someone in bondage with this spirit is SELF. A person with a Jezebel spirit seeks attention in every aspect, and every decision and activity revolves around themselves. Their physical beauty is an added tool, to lure the attention they crave, and demand.

​As a Christian, some points need to be made on handling someone with this spirit.

1. All of us at some point are susceptible to allowing this manipulating, controlling, and scheming to overtake us, and be unaware of it-until the Lord steps in, and starts to deal with us. After salvation, the Lord dealt with me consistently over a period of months, to show me I needed to be delivered from this.  The blood of Christ has the power to break every bondage.

2. However, if an unsaved person is under this bondage, and continues to let it control them-the compulsion to control and manipulate will keep getting stronger in them, until it completely takes them over. At that stage, the primary way they relate to people-is to control them. Scripture gives us guidance about people like this, avoid them, and if necessary block them from our lives; for our own good. 

Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 
Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. See also: Psalm 81:12, Psalm 26:4-5, Prov. 13:20, Prov. 4:14-15, Psa 64:2, Luke 23:51, 
Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 

3. When it’s a man under the control of this spirit-many times it weakens them, both mentally and physically. They lose the ability to think rationally, focus on any one thing-or stay with anything long enough to be dependable. That’s why this spirit works mostly through women. They use seduction and enticement to accomplish their plans, it comes naturally to them.

4. People with a Jezebel spirit will also use other’s to achieve their goals. We see this in Jezebel setting up Naboth to be stoned to death, when he wouldn’t give the vineyard to Ahab. She wrote letters in Ahab's name, sent them to the leaders and elders of his city, telling them to proclaim a fast and lift up Naboth; then had him falsely accused in front of the leaders and they took him out and stoned him.

If somebody in a community has the money, power, and influence-they can, and do use these tactics to destroy someone else who’s in their way. They can use their influence to get whole groups of people to stand with them, and support them-because they’ve learned how to bait these people to do what they want. If these same people didn’t have the money or power-they wouldn’t give them the time of day. Many people have no discernment of human character-it’s the blind leading the blind. This evil behavior goes all the way to the top of businesses, churches, organizations, and governments; and untold numbers of innocent people are destroyed by these Jezebel manipulations and schemes.

Jesus came to set the captives free. However, a person with this spirit has to come to a place that they are willing and able to see their own behavior-and how destructive it is, and really want to change. Only the Holy Spirit can do that.

The Lord Jesus Christ can break every bondage, forgive the sin, and bring a person to freedom, and a life of purpose. Repentance and turning from sin is the first step. A woman who has a desire to turn away from this useless life, and let God begin to transform her, and make her into the woman He intended for her to be, will find a good starting point by reading and putting into practice Proverbs chapter 31. Ruth is another godly woman and good to study. From there, the gospels give many examples of Jesus' interactions with women, and his words of wisdom, and teaching concerning women, and His power to change and forgive any life.
It's a journey worth the time and effort.
