I've heard this before by other's, and I've decided to put my two cents in here, on the color green. When God created this world he could have made the sky, forests and landscape wild brilliant colors that could grate on your eyes, and nerves. Instead, he made the sky blue, and the vegetation, trees, grass and most undergrowth green. I never cease to be amazed at God's wonderous artistic ability-evident in His creation. Walking through a fresh green forest in spring, with a brilliant carpet of moss, grasses and ferns is a delight. Standing on a plateau and observing a beautiful panorama of green rolling hills, mountains, and forests with the hues of blue of the sky meeting on the horizon can be breathtaking. The green of every plant and tree compliments the colors of the fruits, flowers and buds- this is no accident. It is God's handiwork, every detail is taken into account to give you, his creation joy, pleasure, and His expression of love-to shower you with His care and bless you in every possible way. He's taken everything into account, to give us everything to live in an abundance of His provision. It causes me to realize what Adam and Eve really did, when they rebelled in the garden, and the ongoing battle we face to this day, because of their fall that day. However, one day, that will change too, and I'm looking forward to it. No, these people who say green is the devils color-need to open their eyes, and look around at what God has done with the color green. A security guard and some people are seen inside, but nobody with uniforms like nurses or doctors.  Halloween is coming up, and as I'm on the road, I see the people who have continued to choose to celebrate the devil's holiday. It's sad, but these people live in a world of darkness, spite, deception, and rebellion. They are hurting not only themselves, but their kids, and everyone they influence. I feel sorry for them if they do not repent-hell awaits them if they don't. I've grown weary of the atmosphere in my area of spite, dirty trickery, and childish vindictiveness. Speak thou with none till thou hast had speech with the Most High.” (Spurgeon) A solitary place: Jesus knew the importance of solitary time with God. While it is good and important for us to join with others in the presence of God, there is much in our Christian life that can only be learned and experienced in a solitary place with God. Jesus prayed both in public, before crowds, with his disciples, but sought private prayer often, and alone. His soul longed for the presence of His Father, He sought the assistance, and the fellowship He had with him, before coming into the world. John 17:5 He prayed for Himself, not because he was weak-because He sought guidance and wisdom in using the power He possessed, and to use that power and authority with responsibility and love-in the face of much opposition from demonic attacks, unbelief, ignorance, stubborn rebellion and rejection from those He longed to redeem. He prayed for his disciples, and how to lead them, and for many things we are left to surmise about. I've learned the only limits there are in prayer and communion with the Lord, are of our own making. He has never shut the door to me when I've sought Him-He has always shown me His ears are open to those who seek Him with a repentant heart. God's great heart, is of mercy.
