The topic is-that I'm anti-social, and don't associate with anyone, and don't have close relationships with people. I'm an introvert, always have been since I was a kid. I've had a few close friends in my life, who are now gone. I am not good at small talk, and won't put up with slander or gossip-if anybody tries it with me, I'll stop them, and make it clear I don't want to hear it. This narrows my social life a great deal. I had no desire to do this work, it took the Lord over 10 years to get me to do it. If I had my way, I'd be a hermit. I enjoy doing things that a lot of people would find boring. I read, study and research a lot-on many subjects. I enjoy many things that todays world would find "old fashioned". I do not drink, and have no interest in associating with those who do. As a minister, I've been criticized for not being social enough-but, there was a time (over a hundred years ago) that a minister's social life was measured by how they preached the gospel, not how many friends they tried to get, nor whether they agreed with you-it was how faithful they were to the word of God. I'm in the category of the street preacher-straightforward, and plain talking. I've studied scripture diligently for over 40 yrs., and continue to-but I do not pretend to be a theologian. God didn't call just theologians in the Bible-he called fishermen, tax collectors, and women such as the woman at the well, and Lydia-a seller of purple dye, and cloth. At 70 yrs. of age, and a widow, I have no desire to run the roads like I used to. I want to use my time as wisely as possible, and use my computer to post material that can reach as many people as possible, much more effectively, than driving for miles, with less results. I'm going to get it out. For those who don't like it, maybe it's because it's hitting home to you. Maybe your one of those who need to read this. The Bible has a lot to say about laziness, slothfulness, and the sluggard. I'll post some scripture verses on the subject, and some commentary on it. My main focus in this is the decline in society as a whole, in the area of taking pride in keeping the beauty of the country, and taking responsibility for our actions and conduct-in the realm of property and maintaining a home. Many don't care about their homes or their yards; with junk everywhere. The people who do this, you can just imagine what kind of environment they live in. My mother said more than once to me, that you can tell what kind of person someone is-by what the outside of their house looks like. If it's full of trash, and unkept, the inside won't be any better; and you could gauge this on their personal character. Over the years, her words have proven right. Look around when your driving on the roads, and when you stop at any rest areas. What do you see a lot of now...., trash. Junk of every kind, many times piled up and strewn across the land. in front of houses. Junk vehicles, tires, booze bottles/cans, it's disgusting, and unnecessary. People who roll down their windows, and throw their trash out onto the sides of the roads, and on people's property have no respect for the land, the property owners who maintain their lawns and gardens. It is brazen insolence, a total disregard for anyone else, it's complete and utter selfishness. These people are intentionally rude, and malicious. There's a lot of this attitude today, in many other areas of life, and it all adds up when we see the streets in the cities, full of liter and the homeless people living in squalor. There's a lot of people's houses, that are just as bad. When summer months come-people gather in armies-and go along the roads picking up after these slobs, and all of it takes time, money, and energy that these lazy, spoiled people won't do for themselves. They can't be bothered to just keep the trash in the vehicle till they get to a gas station with a trash bin available-and throw it away properly themselves-too lazy and irresponsible to even do that, such a simple thing. For a number of years, I'd go along the roads where Lynn and I lived, and help clean them up-I don't anymore. I've seen too many arrogant, brazen, lazy slobs throwing the trash out their windows as I've been behind them, and watched them as they were laughing as they did it. I won't clean up for them anymore. I've had to pick up trash, and booze bottles on my own property, from the arrogant brazen slobs who've thrown it out their windows onto my lawns, and I knew it was done on purpose. I believe there are some people reading this, that can relate to what I'm saying. But, this growing problem also reveals a great deal about people's inner life, their souls, what kind of people they really are-and what their character is. When you watch them you will see, there's no sense of remorse or responsibility. This is what scripture teaches about sloth, and the sluggard. Character of The Sluggard Pro 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Pro 6:7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Pro 6:8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. Pro 6:9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? The ants swarm in the woods and fields, and rebuke our laziness and sloth. They work day and might, storing their galleries with food, building mounds which relatively to the size of the builders are three or four times larger than the Pyramids. In sickness they nurse one another; in the winter they feed on their supplies. Learn from the ceaseless industry of Nature, and do something worthy before sundown! Pro 6:9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Pro 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Pro 18:9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster-A slothful man neglects his work, and the materials go to ruin: the master, he destroys the materials. They are both destroyers. Pro 19:24 A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. - He is too lazy to feed himself, If he dip his hand once in the dish, he is too lazy to put it in a second time. It is a strange case that a man, through his excessive slothfulness, would rather starve than put himself to the trouble to eat. Pro 21:25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour. He desires to eat, drink, and be clothed: but as he does not labor, hence he dies with this desire in his heart, envying those who possess plenty through their labor and industry. Hence he is said to covet greedily all the day long, Pro_21:26, while the righteous, who has been laborious and diligent, has enough to eat, and some to spare. Pro 24:30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; The chapter ends with an apologue, which may be taken as a parable of something yet deeper. The field and the vineyard are more than the man’s earthly possessions. His neglect brings barrenness or desolation to the garden of the soul. The “thorns” are evil habits that choke the good seed, and the “nettles” are those that are actually hurtful and offensive to others. The “wall” is the defense which laws and rules give to the inward life, and which the sluggard learns to disregard, and the “poverty” is the loss of the true riches of the soul, tranquility, and peace, and righteousness. Everyone has the right to their views on these two issues, and though I rarely do-this time I'm going to say some things, that I'm sure some people won't agree with. That's your free choice. I'm going to voice mine, whether you like or agree or not. These two articles bring out the fact of how ruthless, and hypocritical news media can be, and those in church leadership. I've dealt with it in my own life, and can identify with both of these cases. The truth many times is twisted, and people's lives are ruined, when judging people's failures and mistakes under the magnifying glass of hypocrites. First, regarding the case of Brian Houston and what he's gone through for over 20 years, for the actions and sins of his father. I have first hand knowledge that the accusations in this article by the prosecutor's is not true. In late 1999-to 2002 I sat and watched him myself several times in TV appearances, and he gave clear testimonies and openly revealed the sexual sins his father committed, and his demeanor was sober, honest, and he didn't hold back anything, except the names of the victims. He was protecting them, and anyone with any intelligence could see that. I had a a great deal of respect for Mr. Houston, for his honesty, courage, and the blows he took by the ruthless media slander, and attacks he took because of this. I can't imagine the heartache Brian Houston has suffered over the years because of this-and it goes on to this day. I continue to respect him, and pray God continues to use Him, and keep Him under His care. The span of 25 years that these allegations speak of, why wasn't it dealt with when they happened. But, looking at this from a biblical standpoint, I'll say a few things below this article and the quote, on how I feel about it, and why. Comment: I've read several other articles on this, and listened to some peoples podcasts. You'll get a wide variety of opinions when you listen-but you'll rarely hear anyone use actual scripture, or use examples of what God did with people in similar situations; people become the judge and jury, and counsel from their own flawed measuring lines. I've heard Mike Bickle admit he was wrong in his conduct with other members of the ministry. I heard him apologize, and heard him say he's repented and asked the Lord to forgive and restore him. I watched his facial features, and saw the sincerity in his face. He said he was willing to be under counsel of other's and the desire to continue on with what he believed God called him to do. But, the leadership of IHOPKC has decided this was not enough. Mike Bickle's mistakes, and failures in their eyes, must be worse, and more serious than King David's-who schemed to have the husband of Bathsheba murdered, took her as his wife, and tried to cover it up. In this case King David crying out to God in Psalm 51, would never be enough, if he were here today-he'd be locked out of these churches and mega-ministries. Mr. Bickle's sins in these leaders eyes- is worse than the sin of Moses-who killed the Egyptian and buried him in the sand to hide his body. Mr. Bickle's sins in these hypocrites eyes-is worse than Saul's-who rampaged through Jerusalem, and surrounding country, persecuting, putting in prison, and killing Christians, until God knocked him to the ground, and changed his name to Paul-the Apostle to the Gentiles. Oh, you may say-Mr. Bickle claimed to be saved, and should know better-he knew the scriptures. So did King David. The devil roams the earth, seeking whom he may devour, it matters not, whether your a king, or a peasant. The devil lurks do destroy the Lord's servants, and seizes every opportunity-and there's plenty of stone throwers who will help him. If Mike Bickle turns out to be another Ravi Zacharias- I'll admit I'm wrong, and apologize. But, I'll wait and see what happens now, and stay out of the rest of it. I think I've made my point. They were farmers, peasants, some doctor's, some ministers, some politicians and leaders in their communities. When they came here, they all had to go through the same legal process of becoming a citizen of the United States, and be willing to integrate into the society that was here. They were expected to abide by the laws that were in place, and look for employment, and support themselves, and their families. Of course the government was to give all the assistance they could, but not give free handouts that would be forever. In order to take care of millions of illegal aliens indefinitely-the people who are legal citizens here are left to fend for themselves. The seniors, veterans, and homeless in this country should be the ones given greater support first, not illegal people coming from foreign lands. But, this administration is not willing to listen to the voice of the majority in this country, and those of us who object to this robbery, are being labeled racists and degraded in many ways. But, if these same people have enough money and influence-they can do the same things, and even flaunt it, and the public will praise them, and keep following them. Yes, the bottom line is money, and influence in this world. If your a weary believer in Christ, who knows what I'm talking about, be encouraged. Just admit your mistakes, your faults to the Lord, and ask Him to forgive you, and for more strength to go on, and endure, and pick your cross back up, and keep going on for the Lord. That's what they did in the Bible, that's all we can do. Don't condone yourself, but don't let it destroy you either. Be honest with yourself, and God, and destroy the works of the devil by doing this. The devil hates it when we beat him at his own game. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There's times when I'm doing some studying, and meditating on what I'm reading, that I'll ask myself questions about the subject I'm reading. Recently I was reading about Paul's times in prison, and how many times he was thrown in a dirty filthy dungeon, and spent years in those conditions. I let my mind go into this and try to put myself in his place-and what he must have had to deal with every single day, with no way to get out. The dirty conditions, no ability to bathe, or shower, rats running around and at times running over him if he tried to lay down to sleep. The probable lack of clean drinking water, the lack of decent food, what he was given, may well have been moldy, rotten, bland, barely enough to keep him alive. It was probably all he could do, to eat it, just to stay alive. No toilets,....I could go on. Now, I went even further in my mind with this horrible scenario- how many times did living in these filthy, cold, conditions bring him to the point of being seriously sick, and ill for lengths of time and no medications to alleviate the pain or suffering. I had to believe there were times when he must have wished God would take him home, and prayed for death. The further I went into the reality of his conditions-the more my heart was wrenched. By the time I got to this place, I thought to myself, "If he ever got to the place that he may have found himself cursing Caesar Nero and the soldiers under his breath-I could not blame him." Now, take this, and put it up against what you may be facing today in your life. There's been a few times I've sat under some excellent teachers who would dare to go into these kinds of details in their teachings-and I cherish them. They awakened me to the reality of what it means to follow Christ, to keep picking up the Cross, and follow Him, every time we fail. WE WILL FAIL. It forces us to face the reality that without Christ-we can do nothing. There's been accusations that have come my way that I won't keep answering. One day, God will bring everything that's said before His throne, and people will answer for the false accusations. I'll only speak to a few here: I've never said that I'm a prophet-other's have. I won't deny that over the years, the Holy Spirit has spoken things to me, that I knew were from God. When He's required me to speak them publicly I've done it, to obey Him. I've never tried to force anyone to believe me. I continue to say-go to the Lord yourself, and ask Him if they are true or not. I've pointed people to Jesus Christ, who is the only answer to this world's woes. If there's anything here that speaks to your heart, or confirms what you've been shown by the Lord, I am glad for that. If not, no one is forced to come here. I am an ordained minister-I have an outreach ministry, I have two websites that are a great part of it. I do not have a church, and do not believe I'm supposed to. My teachings, and devotions take up a great deal of time to do, and I pray that God uses them as He wishes to. I do not claim to be on a level of a theologian. The Covid pandemic started this onslaught of chaos, and brought the nations of the world to a breaking point. It's been a well-laid plan, and we are the pawns caught in the elites game of world chess. If you have put your trust in Christ, there will be no fear. The wisest thing to do is what those in the Bible have done in similar situations. Daniel served God as a slave in Babylon, and kept believing and praying under several kings throughout his life. Joseph, hated by his brother's who tried to kill him, committed himself to God, and kept doing what was right, under every situation, and God raised him up, and blessed him. We see the same pattern in Moses, David, and the disciples in the book of Acts. This is the pattern we need to follow in this season we find ourselves in. Those who pick up their bibles and put it into practice, will find the strength to deal with what's coming to us. But, I'll add, it matters the company you keep. If you want to have any chance of riding out the storms coming at us-take a good look at the type of people your surrounding yourself with, and what kind of influence they are in your life. Trouble, breeds trouble. Scripture tells us "Seek peace, and pursue it". There's a lot of wisdom in this. If you haven't given your heart and life to Jesus Christ, now is the time to do so. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. If you do not have the assurance of salvation, right now, all you need to do is call out to Jesus right where you are, and ask Him to forgive your sins, and come into your heart and life, and for the strength to live for Him. Be a person of prayer-this is how you learn to know Him. The more you pray, the more you'll come to know Him, and love Him. Another aspect of the Beast System Here's another aspect of the powers that be, in putting the Beast System into place-the destruction of the institution of marriage, family, and morals. The total breakdown of society, and turning it into a sick perversion of what God originally intended it to be. Every ordinance, every moral law broken, and turned into a perversion of reality, and the truth of what man and woman are supposed to be, in the sight of God. The last several generations of movies, TV, the internet, pornography, drugs, and brainwashing in schools has all played their part to get this accomplished. You go to the campuses of the schools and universities today, and watch and listen to them. Listen to them talk about the different genders (they claim there's hundreds now), look at the wide open acceptance of homosexuality, and transgenders in schools and society everywhere. If you don't accept it-YOU are targeted as a bigot, and homophobic. When you listen to them, it's listening to people so brainwashed, programmed, and mentally ill, it's impossible to speak truth to them-they can't register truth. They have created their own reality, and their codes of life are "do whatever makes you happy". People who still stand for the moral laws God put into place are persecuted, and ostracized. This, along with the mad scientists creating hybrid human/animals-chimeras, and desecrating the DNA of humans as God made us is an abomination in God's sight. Holiday Madness Another season of Christmas madness in upon us-and they've started off with a bar room celebration in NYC- to a standing room only crowd. A couple of months ago, in late September I had to stop at a Lowe's box shop for some supplies to work on a project at home, and they already had holiday decorations out-it was funny really; there was Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving and Christmas all in the same area- a mix-mash of anything you may want. They're on both sides of the debate, when it profits them. The articles that come up are usually like to two examples below. But, notice that there is not any information, or offer given in either of them, to encourage the woman who is trying to get an abortion, to seek an alternative, to seek a way to have the baby adopted, or give resources for the woman to help her to have the baby, and keep it-there's no offers given in these articles to point you in another direction to help save the baby. Why? Because, for all the debates, and all the coverage given at times on the pro-life side of this debate-they show the true state of their agenda's, by what they DO NOT offer, or include. The cold hard truth is-the medical field, doctor's, nurses, and organizations such as Planned Parenthood know full well that abortion is a money making industry. They have no intention of ever letting it be totally shut down. The moral decay of society has become a profitable business in every area, sex trafficking, drugs, vaccines, medical procedures, abortions, and on it goes. The ones who line their pockets the most are the professionals, politicians and the police. Again, they have no intention of really making any changes in these money making rackets. There are many churches who are pro-abortion, and other's who aren't, but offer no solutions, nor do they want to dirty their hands to become involved in a pregnant woman's situation. The hypocrisy in most churches is blatant. They want to keep safe in the four walls of their churches, and just gossip, condemn, and pretend to everyone what good people they are. I've had first hand experience with it. There are exceptions to this, but not many. The only time it will come to an end, is on Judgment Day. And, make no mistake, it is coming. My answer to this is-even so, come Lord Jesus. An example of the futility to stop abortion was last year here in Vermont-I posted on this page several times in 2022 on the issue of the Vermont Proposal 5/Article 22 amendment which came up for a vote-to be added to the Vermont Constitution. The proposal was: In November in Vermont Proposal 5/Article 22 is coming up for a vote-which will be added to the Vermont Constitution. If this happens-it will change the moral laws already in place and open the doors that many Vermonter's don't realize, and don't understand the implications. Proposal 5 allows unregulated abortion, right up until the day of birth. opens the door to various avenues of eugenics, blocks parents from having a say in regard to their children's physical and psychological sexual health, Doctor's and nurses will not have any say in refusing to perform late-term abortions-and will be in danger of losing their jobs, if they refuse to do it. The picture below was an event that took place at the Capital building by those opposing this and trying to stop it. I went, and listened and gave my support to stand against it. But, it passed anyway. I knew it would. When we learned it had gone through, I made up my mind to not get involved in these debates again. For all the phony rhetoric by some Vermonter's about how much they love kids, and are against abortion; when I stood on the lawn of the Capital that day, I saw very little support from Vermonters, the small group that was there, was not enough to stop this from being passed into law. Another Aspect of Abortion That Has No Easy Answers- There is an article above, and also two separate cases below of women seeking abortions because of severe medical risks, or rape or incest. The woman in Texas has been examined several times by a physician who says she should have the abortion for her physical safety-and the courts are still blocking her from being able to get it, even though it could cause her serious harm, or kill her to have it, and the baby has zero chance of being born alive. This is another case of the court system using no compassion for the woman, or common sense. This is also an example of what I meant in saying they go to extremes on both sides of the issue. In the bottom case, of rape or incest. People argue in some of these cases, that the woman should have the child, even if it's from rape or incest. Everybody has to live with their own convictions. I'll just point out a few examples of this problem: 1. What about the woman/girl that is pregnant by her own father, brother, cousin, uncle? 2. What happens if she's extremely young-there's been cases of girls of only 9, 10, 12-in these cases, giving birth could be at the risk of her life. 3. In the case of women who are raped, there are many factors to consider-various serious diseases being among them. Some women can't cope with the mental anguish of the abuse they've gone through, and are emotionally unable to deal with carrying a baby to term, especially if they were brutally battered. These are a few things to consider in these situations, it may seem easy to give advice, and be dogmatic in being pro-life even in these cases, if it isn't your daughter, sister, or relative dealing with it. But, if it comes to your door, it takes a lot of compassion, and wisdom to know what the right thing to do is. When I've prayed about this, I believe the Lord gave me a practical answer- If the woman's life is in serious danger, it's her life that comes first, and should be protected. That is my stand in most cases, unless there's proven evidence that both lives could be saved. My response is-I've posted even more above, to go along with the one below. Through my 70 yrs. I've been robbed 3 times, assaulted several times, and threatened, at times seriously. I worked with the elderly, some who were robbed, assaulted, and abused. I could tell some horrendous stories of what was done to them. I'll come out and tell parents-many of you let your kids have the keys to cars, and let them go and do anything they please and you believe, (or don't care) the lies they tell you about what they are doing-many of the elderly people I took care of were abused and robbed by your drugged, boozed up kids, that run the roads every weekend. The people in this country are facing an onslaught of crime, in their homes, on the streets and in public places, women are open targets for rape and assaults. The man who shot and killed the burglar below was protecting himself, and his property-that's what our 2nd Amendment rights are supposed to be for. I have protection, and, if I need to, I will use it. I am not afraid, but I'm not going to be a victim either. God gave us brains for a reason. I've also posted several articles about dogs running loose and attacking and killing people. I had dogs all my life and loved them all-but I was also responsible for them, and kept them restrained and made sure I knew where they were at all times. Dogs running loose is a rising problem all over the country and there's many tragic stories of people being killed right on the streets- if people can't take care of their dogs they should not be allowed to have them. A great many people live in an isolated world of their own, with their heads down at their phones, TV's and video games, and don't understand the seriousness of the rise in crime, and brutality that's becoming out of control. Many of you with big ministries-live in your mansions behind closed gates and body guards, you've made sure your protected-the rest of us have to live in the real world. If I feel led to post about this problem, I will, and you can think whatever you please. I've learned a long time ago, the only one who really cares about those who go through this kind of problem, or live with it-is God, and a few people who've been there, and understand.
