I posted a commentary on the news page of this site on Halloween last week, and I am aware it has not been received well by many. I'm not surprised. I'll make some remarks about this, that will perhaps give a deeper aspect to the remarks I made in the commentary.

I love people, but the call on my life as a watchman, intercessor and teacher has the expected issues of misunderstanding, unbelief, along with jealousies and various areas of blindness from people, because I won't compromise. I won't bend the scriptures, or excuse sin, in myself, or anyone else. Sin is like an open sore, the only way it will heal is to cleanse it, and apply medication that will prevent the infection from spreading. Repentance and the Word of God,  is what heals the sin in our lives, and puts us back in right standing with the Lord. When God convicts me that I've let a sin in my life-I repent, and ask for His cleansing, and His help to stop doing it, and to walk in a way that pleases Him.

But, many churches and Christians have a form of godliness, and what Dietrich Bonhoeffer called "cheap grace"-do just about whatever you want, and it's ok. I've seen every kind of apostasy in churches over the years, and watched it get to the point that what most call worship today, is just another rock concert. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not there, it's another social get-together, the people may be having a great time-but God isn't there. If you bring up the problems of sin, and the need of repentance, if you stand against issues like homosexuality, drug/alcohol addiction, fornication, adultery, many times you'll be met with reactions that range from apathy, sullen anger, mocking, and outright rejection. You are interfering with their party, and their happiness-this is what church has turned into. When they pray-it's for every kind of blessing and material need-but don't ask them to get on their knees, and seek God to cleanse their hearts and souls from sins that have infected them, and that hinders them from receiving the answers they desire. You will be met with opposition and rejection.

Mega churches are run by Satan. They are run no differently than the Hollywood elites. Many of the answers they do get, believe it or not-come from the god of this world, Satan himself. Yes, the devil will give you the desires you crave, for a price. Listen to the testimonies of Bob Dylan, Katy Perry, and many other's could be named. They admit it, and know it works, for now. They all, including the mega churches will be sadly surprised to find they've been serving the wrong god-for many years, and all the money they've enjoyed while on earth will just go back to the devil, where it came from. He will find other's to replace the ones who die.

Many mistake people with boldness for Christ with pride. A few examples of what I've seen of "in your face" pride-and millions seem to love it: Donald Trump has said many times at his rallies that he could say anything he wanted, or go out in the street and commit murder-and the people would still love him, and follow him. He's right, they do; and MANY of them call themselves Christian. I've posted many videos on what he's done, what he's been involved in. He still brags of being the "Father" of the vaccines, he's cursed and taken the name of Jesus Christ in vain-and the people still support him, and still follow him. It doesn't make any difference to these people what the Bible says about taking God's name in vain, they choose to remain blind about it, and continue to follow him. This country is easily hypnotized, brainwashed and will follow people like him, because he doesn't care what anybody thinks, he will lie and get away with it, because he's learned the art of sprinkling in enough good works, will give the people just enough compliments to keep them coming back, and has the money and influence to get him what he wants. Kenneth Copeland is another example of people choosing to follow someone lost in apostasy. When he linked hands and arms with the pope of Rome, and verbally attacked those who won't back up this One World Religion, I had to make up my mind who I was going to follow, these deceived apostates-or the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Word, without compromise. Copeland, other's like him, and all who follow them, have made definite lines in the sand, and it will bring a total spilt between Christians, it's happening now. These people are the pinnacle of pride, and millions are deceived-and love it to be so. Paul had many enemies in his day-and those who did all they could to destroy him, even while he was in prison. Being sold out for Christ isn't always going to get you in the front row of popularity. Keep the focus on what Jesus wants you to do-regardless of what you see. We are to take up our cross, and walk on with him, wherever it leads.

Then she read of God's placement of His laws above His very name. 

Psa 138:2  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 

Then she read of the holiness of God's word, that they are pure, tried in the furnace of the earth seven times. They are to be loved, and applied to our lives.

Psa 12:6  The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 
Psa 119:140  Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. 
Thy word: Gold has need to be refined; but thy word is purity itself, reflecting the holiness of Jehovah's character and government, and requiring and leading to purity of heart and life. (TSK cross ref.)

After she read these scriptures, and gave some short comments of her personal thoughts on them, she asked one of the helpers to bring out a container and a spoon, open the container which had black dirt in it, take a teaspoon of dirt, and pour it into one of the glasses of water. When she did-it instantly turned brown, a stark contrast to the other one, which was still pure and clear.

She turned to the audience and asked "Now, if the glass of water with the dirt added was given to you, would you drink it?" Many voices of "no" were heard across the audience.

Then she asked the helper to take the spoon, put it into the container again, and just take a pinch out, and add it to the other clear glass, and when it was added, it turned only a slight shade of tan. She turned again to the audience and asked "Now, it's really not as bad as the other, would you still drink this one?" Again, the answer of mumbled voices "No, not me" could be heard across the room.

This is a graphic example of what is wrong with compromise of the Word of God, and it is the greatest area of spiritual warfare for the Christian; how much compromise, corruption, twisting of the scriptures, is too much. How much dirt, is too much?

She ended saying "Satan used the same tactics with Eve concerning the word of God, as he is using today, when he said to her "Hath God said?"

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 

"This is the greatest danger we face today, the twisting, corrupting, and adding to or taking away what the Word of God says, and creating our own doctrines, and choosing what we will accept, believe, and apply to our lives, and what we won't. When we choose to alter the clear Word of God as it's written and corrupt it, we are drinking from a contaminated well of dirty water that will lead us to destruction. This is the most important aspect of our warfare today."

She was right, and we are reaping the consequences of that corruption now. There are virtually no teachings on this spiritual level today-most churches wouldn't allow it.
So, I'll end this with the same question; "How much dirt, is too much?"

Only those who stay in the Word of God, and prayer, will get through this with their faith in Christ intact, because we are seeing many are falling away into deception, including mainline churches, and mega churches. Many churches and Christians are mingling with, and melding together with the New Age philosopher's and teachers of this age, and becoming totally apostate. I ask the question, that only you can answer-Who is Jesus Christ to you, is He what the Bible says He is, or have you created a god which includes these pagan/New Age beliefs? There's only One True God, One Jesus Christ-and His truth is found only in the Bible. 

Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 
Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

​Pilate is a type of a vast multitude. Like the compilers of an encyclopedia, they cannot avoid becoming acquainted with the titles of religious subjects, parties, men of every rank. Yet each if pressed, would deliver themselves very much after Pilate’s fashion. To offer Christ to men of this character is to “cast pearls before swine.” What is the “truth in Christ” to them? He may be “chief among ten thousand,” and able to give pardon, and righteousness, and grace, and glory. But He is not money, or business. His only property was the robe they took, and replaced it with the bloodstained one he now wore. He cannot give social rank, political success; and so they spurn the offer. This man is a sample of Satan’s workmanship—the devil’s masterpiece. But “what shall it profit a man,”
He was a Roman, and apart from the interests of the empire, cared little for the creed or worship of the Hebrews. It was not part of his duty to interfere with the religion of the people he was ruling. Provided it did not lead to sedition he was content to let it contemptuously alone. “What is truth?” he asks, “What is it worth? What has it done? Is it worth any one’s while risking anything for it? It is power, and not truth we need. Let us have something practical, tangible, and not vain and idle discussions about abstract questions.”

​Pilate was convinced of our Lord’s innocence, and he adopted several expedients to save His life; he did everything, indeed, except to act with absolute justice and discharge the case. If he had promptly and firmly refused to be a party to the unrighteous act to which the Jewish leaders were goading him, before they could further inflame the popular sentiment, the whole matter would have come to an end. But he let the golden moment slip, and every succeeding hour made it more impossible to retrieve it. The proposal to chastise Jesus; the endeavor to induce the people to ask for Him rather than Barabbas; the scourging as an appeal to their pity-all such expedients failed to turn them from their purpose. The governor became more and more afraid. Whence art thou? Of human birth or more? Our Lord’s silence was His answer. The guilt of Pilate was great, but it is not for a moment to be compared with that of the high priest. “He that delivereth Me unto thee hath the greater sin.” They saw the light and hated it. They knew the truth and rejected it. They could not resist the evidence that Jesus was the Christ; but He was a Christ so different from Him whom they desired that they cried, “Crucify Him!”

Here is another and far more perilous standpoint: to look upon Christ and His religion as something to be hated and banished. Let me speak faithfully of the danger of this class. The sin that will banish the perpetrators from the presence of the Lord at His coming is not the sin of Adam. That has been atoned for by the second Adam. It will not be the sin of ignorance. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” It will not be any word or deed too heinous to be forgiven; for there is no exception to the gracious offer: “If we confess our sins,”. But it will be that of rejecting—calmly, willfully, and persistently—the greatest offer which God has made to us: His Son as our personal Savior. 

Pilate; or what worldliness beheld. A mysterious man—no ordinary criminal.
The priests; or what bigotry beheld. Jesus has not respected their traditions and echoed their dogmas; therefore, He is an imposter and blasphemer. There is no hate like priestly hate. Bigotry in the midst of revealed religion is farther from God than heathen worldliness.
The masses; or what ignorant resentment beheld. The Christ of their desire was only a more vulgar rendering of the political Messiah of the infuriated priests. Scarcely a week ago, they greeted Him as their King. But there is Jesus, weak, bound, silent, and trampled upon. They saw one who raised their expectations to the highest, and disappointed them. A mob is never so savage as when it conceives itself to be imposed upon by one whom it has made its idol. They therefore join ix the cry, “Crucify Him!”
The soldiers; or what heathen brutality beheld. A hardened Roman in the ranks could feel nothing but contempt for a Jewish criminal. Such men could admire and adore a Caesar who could lead them through fields of slaughter to the fame of a Roman victory.
Nicodemus; or what unavowed discipleship beheld. Lack of courage and decision brought no consolation in this dread hour. Little has he risked to avert this tragedy, and he is beginning to feel it.
Peter; or what the unfaithful apostle beheld. Jesus cast one look on him, but the apostle could not  encounter those eyes of piercing discernment, pity, and love.
Judas; or what the traitor and apostate beheld. From that eye, so downcast, unable to look upon that gaze coming forth, the pure love of God. The memory of that sight is fire unquenchable, the writhing of the worm that never dies.
John; or what the disciple whom Jesus loved beheld. He could not look for his tears; but yet he saw what few eyes there witnessed, but what we need to see today—our Incarnate and Redeeming God.

When I read this account in my bible, I put myself there, because I'm among them. My sins are represented there, and the price of my redemption. I'm flung once again into that angry mob of humanity, and can hear them crying out to Pilate for his slaughter. What Jesus willingly, silently, endured for my redemption and salvation, no words can really describe. There is no way to repay the price he paid.
​All I can give Him is my life, my surrender, my love. It will take eternity-to begin to express this love.
