They had flaws, were of many different cultures, some were rich, some poor, some highly educated, some were fishermen, and tax collectors. Moses was a leader in Egypt who fled after murdering a man and burying him. He fled to the desert, and became a shepherd of sheep and goats, married there and one day found a burning bush that wouldn't be consumed, and a voice spoke to him out of it. God called him out of the bush, and made him a deliverer of his people, Israel. God still works in various ways, that often don't fit into man's compartments, or boxes. He chooses who he wants to do a work for Him, and he doesn't ask for anybody's permission. I'm in the category that Paul talked about, of no reputation, nothing this world would consider special. Like Moses-when God let me know he wanted me to do this, I made several excuses, because I didn't want to do it. I've said to the Lord, that I don't feel qualified to do this work-but have stopped arguing with Him. I've finally surrendered to this and do the best I can. But, I make mistakes like everybody, I lose my composure sometimes when the AI system in this computer fights me, and believe me, it is a battle when it does. I've learned what to do, but I'm human, and get very tired of fighting with robotic computer systems and technologies, that are supposed to be a tool for you to use and improve your work-not fight with you. This is a great sign to me of the demonic infiltration and level of attacks we are facing today. I've said this to make a short statement to those who continue to come here and then go back to their own sites, channels, etc., and poke at me with underhanded remarks, and topics that I know are aimed in my direction. Most of the time I ignore it, but, over the years I've seen the evidence of the attacks that have come my way to undermine any success to the book I wrote, and the tactics used by a great many on the internet to make sure it never succeeded-including Google. I've watched other's do the same and see them rise to the top with their books that were clearly aimed to do just that, and watched them get put on best seller's lists. I've been insulted, mocked, ridiculed, while never mentioning my name-they don't have to, I know their aimed at me. Other's have thrown out the mental illness attack-I've got enough job references, from when I was working, that I will gladly use to debunk that accusation. The big problem we have today is a society with spying and probing devices in everything now, in our homes, TV's and vehicles-and we have no privacy anymore, it has caused a brain disfunction in people, they don't know what boundaries are for anymore, or respect people's privacy. They feel entitled to invade your life, even if they are a stranger to you, and you've never met them. Their ability of being able to probe into your private life without permission makes them feel they have the right to treat you any way they want to. I've got photo albums full of my life when I was raising my daughter, and living on our farm with my husband-with horses, cattle, dogs, chickens, pigs, ducks and other pets. The memories are precious, and there's times I'd love to go back to them-but, I cannot. I must accept the life I've got now, whether I like it or not. Many people are so narrowminded-they can't register the fact that as years come and go-our lives change, and we have to be willing to change with it, and adapt to what life hands us. At this stage of my life-I have to accept my limitations, and what I can do, and not do anymore. But, there's many who are so selfish, they can't think in those terms, they can only think in terms of what they want. Those who I've seen who fit this category, I feel sorry for you. Your going to have a hard time, when you have to deal with the same realities. Over the years I've also watched many bizarre behaviors with people who show they cannot accept the differences of other's, and they will go to great lengths to do crazy things that many times make no sense-to send you a message that you "must" be like them, or they will try to push it down your throat, and control you. I'm ready in my heart, for whatever happens, and whenever He comes for His people. If the rapture takes place soon-I'm more than ready to go. Come, Lord Jesus, and take back this world; Your kingdom come, Your will be done-on earth as it is in heaven. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As a bible teacher, it's very important to allow for differences in interpretation, when it comes to doctrines such as the rapture. There are very serious bible scholars who spent their lives studying scripture-who do not agree on when Christ will return and how this will happen. In 40+ yrs. of studying, I can see how people can have these differences. It's important to stand on the firm statements by Christ himself, on the fact that he said he is coming back, and to study the references he makes throughout the gospels, and take his word as the final authority, and trust in His promises to us who are his people. Study Matthew ch. 24, Jesus clearly lays out what we are to look for as the timing of the end of days. The daily news tells you-we are in them now. As to whether Jesus returns for us before the tribulation, or in the middle of it, or the end-if we know Jesus as our Savior, and are walking with Him daily, we are not to be afraid of anything, we live and work our daily lives, and be ready, whenever He comes. I've posted two links to teachings by two very well-respected scholars who do not hold to a pre-tribulation rapture, but believe Christ teaches he will return once at the end of the tribulation and they explain what they feel Christ describes when the saints in heaven with him return with him, and met with the believer's who are alive and remain-who will be caught up to meet Him as he's returning. They both use scripture that clearly describes this. I want to give them this place to speak their convictions, because God will hold me accountable, if I do not do my best, to hold to scripture as it's written. What we may not understand in this life, is taken into consideration by the Lord, but we who teach His word are not to intentionally try to twist it, or change it. This is why I post teachings by other's who have spent their lives studying the bible-to give you the opportunity to learn, and scrutinize the teachings yourself, and pray for God's light for your understanding. I'll also add, if you aren't saved, and don't know Christ as your Savior yet-these teachings very well may be very confusing to you, and without faith, you will find them nonsense. Spiritual understanding comes, when we open the door of our hearts, and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive our sins, and come into our hearts, then the Holy Spirit comes within our souls and understanding of the scriptures takes place. The people helping each other and coming together in this is good to see. But, what I wish I was seeing more, is people realizing that this life is short, tragedies happen, and what we believe, and stand for matters in eternity. Vermont needs to acknowledge we need the Lord in our lives, to repent of our sins, and seek Him, and ask for His forgiveness. All of our good deeds is as filthy rags to Him, it does not cover our sins, and we all sin, every one of us. If we seek Him we will find Him, and help in time of need. My heart goes out to everyone who's lost homes, and businesses. My prayer is that people would think of this in eternal terms-we are all going to leave this world. None of this will remain. Where do you stand with Jesus, are you ready to deal with eternity? Have you admitted to Him, that you are a sinner, in need of a Savior, and received His salvation, and forgiveness? I believe we are in the end of days, and the events in the world, and in Israel now are biblical. This world today is at the same place it was in the days of Noah. I'll save you the trouble, and discredit myself. When I bought this house in 2005-I asked the real estate man several times if this area was quiet and free from drug/alcohol problems, every time he answered that there was never any problems here. I was taking care of my mother, and had recently lost my husband. I didn't want to live in a rowdy neighborhood and deal with what that brings. I knew the house needed repairs-which I was willing to get done, and pay for. I bought it, and for a short while, it was quiet here. But, then the woman across the road from me came over one day and stated her son-who was still living somewhere else, was going to "move back onto the property", I assumed that meant she and her husband were going to give him some land near me; I had no idea what was coming next, but soon found out. He first moved in up over their garage attached to their house and lived there with a woman I assumed was his wife, but learned this wasn't the case. The weekend parties and noise started- the road became a race track for the area young people who hung out with him and his woman. After a while he for some reason moved to the place on the corner from me-it is also part of their land. I found out unfortunately, that I had bought a house that they had built and owned-I wish I had known before I had done this, but it was too late. So, over the last 19 years, there's been ongoing weekend parties, rowdy activity between all of them, and gangs of young people who hang out there, and at times, when they are high on something, and in the mood to cause trouble-I'm the target many times. There's ongoing harassment, antagonism, and I've had vandalism, and trash/beer bottles thrown in my yard, and boxes of screws thrown in my driveway. Along with this the son of these people often shoots his guns off, at all hours, even in the night, when they are partying and troublemaking. I've called the police at times, and found it is useless to do so. I've given up. These people have spread lies and covered their behavior up, and the people in the area do nothing, because many of them have kids that hang out there, and they allow it to go on. I'm painted as unreasonable, and not liking kids. These people have bugged my house and continue to deny it- and I'm accused of not tolerating noise and people "just having fun". It's lies, my brother has witnessed what goes on here also, but, I'm outnumbered. I came to the place I started cussing at these people, because they have many times cursed me with vile obscenities and treated me shamefully. They have no conscience, and allow kids as young as 8-10 to do this. The road in front of me is used by them to harass and intimidate me by them, and the adults not only condone it, they promote it. Yes, I've tried to sell this place several times, every time I did, something blocked me from getting it sold. I took it to the Lord, and know I'm to stand my ground and not allow them to push me out. But, what hurts my soul more than anything is that this has caused me several times to use my mouth to curse these people, and say things that do not glorify the Lord. His word is clear, profanity should never come out of my mouth. I've repented, grieved, fasted, and asked for the Lord's forgiveness. But, this battle is against a very evil force, one worse than I've ever dealt with before. One thing the Lord spoke to my heart is, in these last days, the demonic forces have escalated greatly, and they are attacking the saints in areas that can destroy them the most. We are seeing it in the many dirty back stabbings between ministries now. No one uses Matthew chapter 18, which Jesus tells us to do, when confronting disputes and problems among believer's- it is totally cutthroat now. Nothing grieves me more, than saying or doing anything that I know dishonors the Lord Jesus-and He knows this. I give no excuses, without Him, I will fail every time. But, nothing the devil does, will stop me from hanging onto the Lord, even in the dust, I'll hang on to His feet. This is the battle waging in my life now, along with other's. But it has nothing to do with any involvement with a man, or sex. There's been no man in my life, since my husbands death, and there won't be. For those who choose to never come here again, this website and my other one Two Sparrows Ministry-was started with one focus-to serve Jesus Christ, and be led by Him to post what He may want on them, and to let Him be the head of where it goes. If no one wants to come here, I'll keep posting what I believe God wants, and preach to the demons. You are free to come, and free to leave. I'm not going to pretend to be perfect. I'm not going to keep trying to defend myself. I love the Lord Jesus Christ, with my whole heart, and will do whatever I believe he wants-and expect nothing from anyone. I'll keep going, just as I have. I'm not concerned about success, I'm doing this to be faithful to what God's called me to do, even when I fall, and fail. I just spent several days praying and fasting about this situation with my neighbors, and those who've made themselves my enemies. God's got my back, I'm going on with God, and leaving them to Him. I've also repented again, and asked for God's strength to not give in to cussing at them-and put up a wall and a border to keep them away from me. I'm doing what I can, to stand where God's put me. I've been a quiet person all my life- who wants to spend my time focused on my responsibilities and mind my own business. People may not like me for this, I can't change that. So far, it's not against the law. In this country now-lawlessness, has become the normal pattern for a lot of people, along with lying. So, I'll end this by just repeating- Any of you who come here, your free to come, and free to leave. No one is forcing you to come here. I love Jesus Christ, and that will never change.
